Otawhao is an 865 hectare (750 effective) sheep and beef farm with a mix of flat, rolling and hill country. We run approximately 200 breeding cows, 400 R1 & R2 cattle, 3800 breeding ewes, 1000 in lamb hoggets and 1000 dry hoggets/winter lambs. We seek to run a sustainable, productive and profitable business and give people opportunities to grow and progress. We have an ongoing development plan including plenty of new fencing. If you are an energetic person who is passionate about farming, has a broad range of skills and is keen to learn, then we would love to have you as part of our team. Your duties will include new and repair fencing, tractor work, general stock/yard work, weed control and other general tasks.
