Farm worker - sheep, beef & deer

We are looking for a farm worker to join us at our 850 ha sheep, beef & deer farm in Blackmount, Western Southland. Duties include stock work with all stock types, fencing, tractor driving and general maintenance. Farm contour ranges from flat to steep hill.  We're looking for someone who genuinely wants to farm. The position has the potential to develop with increasing levels of responsibility, as ability and competence are observed.

The applicant will:

• Have at least 4 years farming experience
• Have a team of 3 - 4 working dogs
• Be:
  • Honest and reliable
  • Motivated to problem solve as issues arise
  • Capable of working independently and with others, as required
  • Able to follow instructions and keep farm records
  • Be residing in New Zealand with full work eligibility
  • Current, full drivers licence
