Job Description
Hawkdun Station is a large High Country Sheep and Beef Station located near St Bathans in Central Otago. We are about 1 ½ hours to Queenstown and 2 hours to Dunedin. We are a breeding and finishing property that runs Angus cattle and Romdale sheep.
We are looking for a Shepherd/General with some experience to join our small friendly team. This would suit someone looking to further their farming career.
Key skills required:
* Previous farm and stock experience
* One or two dogs under good control
* Ability to safely operate an ATV, Truck and Tractor on hill country
* Fencing and general farm maintenance skills
* Motivated, honest and eager to work and learn
Applicants should be a NZ resident or have NZ residency. A Full drivers Licence is required. Single accommodation available. Salary to be negotiated.
