Job Description
General farm worker required for a 1000ha sheep and beef station. We are a commercial sheep breeding and beef finishing farm east of Eketahuna. We are looking for someone to join our team to assist with general farm work with a focus on fencing.
Day to day activities will include:
- Fencing - fixing existing fences, new fence lines to be put in
- Tractor work - feeding bales, cultivation work
- Stock work - assisting with general stock work
The right candidate will have:
* Experience with fencing and the ability to work unsupervised
* Some tractor and machinery experience for cropping
* Good stock sense, with 1-2 working dogs
