Minzion Station Ltd is seeking a motivated and reliable junior stockperson to join the team on our 6500ha sheep and beef property located in Central Otago.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone in the early stages of their livestock farming career looking to progress and learn in a dynamic farm environment.
You will be part of an enthusiastic and experienced team, primarily assisting with livestock duties relating to both the breeding and commercial side of the beef and sheep enterprises. Other tasks will comprise some tractor work and assisting with other general farm duties where required.
This role requires someone who can handle livestock in a competent, safe manner and who has a good foundation knowledge of animal husbandry practices, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to follow farm procedures.

Minzion Station is an innovative 6500ha sheep and beef property which has undergone substantial development in recent years. The station consists of intensively managed crop and grassland on the valley floor, before extending out to hill country and tussock grassland.
Comprising a mixed flock of 14,000 ewes (Halfbreds and Perendales) and 1000 Hereford and Angus X cows, Minzion is primarily a breeding and finishing operation geared towards protein and fibre production. In recent years there has been a high level of investment in hill country development and in infrastructure to streamline the handling of stock.
