We have an opportunity for an eager, hard working & responsible person who has past experience in the arable industry, preferably at least two years.
Our 565ha irrigated property is located near Methven in Mid-Canterbury, which is in the heart of New Zealand's cropping country. Methven is also a considered an outdoor adventure playground, with hunting, fishing, skiing and water-sports all close by.
Family owned and operated, the farm is equipped with large, modern machinery and facilities. We also have store lambs on the property during the winter, so stock handling ability in addition to machinery operation skill is desirable. The applicant must be mechanically minded and fit. In return for these skills and attributes we will provide an attractive financial package. Accommodation is available on farm, but is also available in Methven if the applicant prefers.

LH Farm Co runs a 565ha cropping farm "Innesown", situated on flat land, 8km from Methven, Mid-Canterbury. The property is irrigated with four large laterals, supplied by three deep wells.
The machinery & cultivation equipment is modern, and medium to large in size.The main yard is well supplied with a well equipped workshop, storage sheds, silos, woolshed and large sheep yards. Store lambs are run on the property during the winter only.
