Mt Erin Station - Shepherd General

Mt Erin Station is an 1180 Hectare Property 7kms from Havelock North. It comprises Steep hill country, more rolling south east facing slopes to the Tuki Tuki river  and irrigated flats.

We are looking to establish a new team. Our manager of 14 years is moving on and we are in the throes of appointing a new manager.

The  successful applicant will work under the manager.

The property has 28 paddocks on steeper hill country and requires competent mustering skills and a team of dogs.  

The majority of the work is stock related but also extends to all aspects of farming/farm maintenance /fencing/tractor work and irrigation shifts.

Accommodation is available on farm. This is a single bedroom with separate living space/Kitchen, bathroom and laundry.

Skills required;

-Competent stock management

-Mustering skills

-Able to work alone or in a team with a high degree of safety awareness

-excellent communication skills

-Self motivation

-strong work ethic

-Competent safe Quad bike use

-Full current drivers license

-Physically fit and capable
