Job Description
Ngaringa is a 980ha (860ha effective) sheep and beef property running 7800 stock units on medium steep hill country in Gladstone, 30 minutes from Masterton.
Being a family owned farm we are passionate about our business and our staff. We prioritize opportunities for our shepherds to develop both on and off farm. We pride ourselves on promoting an environment that allows shepherds to progress in their careers. The job will consist of a 80:20 split between stock and general work, working alongside the owner, on your own and in a team at busier times.
The successful applicant will:

Have a capable team of 3 - 6 dogs

Have a level of R & M skills - desirable but not essential. Attitude is everything!
The house is a warm three bedroom home with two fires, a heat pump and a double garage. There are quality dogs kennels and a training paddock. If needed, the fantastic Gladstone School is 15 minutes away with a school bus to gate. Gladstone has a great community with a popular sports club/complex, social functions and pub.
Start date negotiable.
