WHAT
Following the retirement of a long-standing team member, there are now two positions available, a Fencer/General Hand and a Tractor Driver/General hand.
Both positions require experienced individuals to be able to work independently and undertake a variety of tasks from tractor operating (feeding out silage and baleage, FEL work, metalling tracks etc), spraying through to general R & M on farm including general maintenance with the yards and buildings. While both of these roles have a slightly different area of focus, they do have some cross over so a certain level of experience held in either role around machinery and fencing would be beneficial. Servicing and maintenance of the Station water system is also an important part of the role.
Servicing and maintenance of the Station water system is also an important part of the role.
The machinery operator aspect of the Tractor Driver/General Hand role is mainly for general tractor work and feeding out as contractors are engaged to complete ag work.
There will also be a limited amount of stock work, helping at peak processing times such as docking and weaning as required.
