Shepherd - Mount Linton Station

Mount Linton is a 12,145ha 92,500SU sheep, beef and forestry property at the foothills of the Takitimu Mountains in Western Southland. 

The Station ranges from easy rolling downs at 200m to extensive high country at over 800m, with two sheep genetic programmes and the largest Angus herd in NZ.

We are looking for a shepherd to join out team of 20 people. Ideally you will have at least four well trained dogs and a couple of years shepherding experience, but less experienced candidates are welcome to apply as we believe the right attitude is more important.

We have a reputation for growing our people and there will be opportunities to climb the ladder within the business for the right candidate.

The position is fully found, and accommodation is shared in a six-bedroom quarters with internet and Sky TV. There is excellent hunting and fishing on the Station as well as numerous other staff benefits.
