Job Description
This is an opportunity to join a family owned and operated mixed cattle and farming operation in Glenmorgan, Queensland (approx 4.5 hours west of Brisbane). The property is 50,000 acres running approximately 4,000 head of composite cattle. Farming consists of 4,000 acres of forage crop with the remainder being pasture grazing country.
You’ll be involved in day to day operations including:
- Machinery operating
- Stock handling with motorbikes/horse
- General repair and maintenance
Accommodation is on property with some meals provided.
Majority of weekends are free which provides an opportunity to get involved in the great local community with activities such as the Condamine Rugby Club which is well known for being a social yet competitive country club and is well supported by the surrounding community.
Job requirements:
- Current NZ drivers licence
- Past experience is an advantage
