FARM MANAGER- IRRIGATED CROPS FARM.

“Lake House” Tasmania is a family owned farming business in Midlands of Tasmania, farming 700ha. 
The fully irrigated property grows a wide range of crops from; wheat, Barley, Canola, carrot seed, grass 
seed, fresh peas, poppies and potatoes. We also have 2200 ewes, trade fat lambs and do dairy support and weight gain contracts throughout the year.

You will have a positive, can-do attitude as well as strong internal motivation and work ethic and be 
comfortable working on your own or in a small team. Good crop and animal husbandry, understanding 
of irrigation, strong record keeping, budgeting skills and communication skills essential. The farm has 
invested in good machinery and facilities over the past few years including new sheep yards, and
storage sheds. .
A good 4 bedroom homestead, phone, company vehicle and a competitive remuneration package with 
performances based incentive scheme. Great local school and town ‘Cressy’ 10km from the farm.
