Job Description
We are a Service Bull Farm In South Taranaki, with 700 Mixed Aged Bulls, on 120 ha of flat and 40 ha of grazable gullies. We hold an annual Bull sale on farm in September selling 450 Bulls on the day. we strive to deliver top quality service bulls to the Lower North Island. Our Business is a Unique Dry Stock position, and we break feed most of the year anywhere from 8 to 20 mobs, using large rounds of hay and silage and fodder feet crops through winter.
We are looking for a capable couple, a manger or a 2IC, to join us, we can adjust the owners input according to the suitable applicant.
Your day to day work could involve, grazing management, break feeding, feeding out along with drafting and loading bulls and maintaining farm infrastructure. Most fences are single hot wire.

The Ideal Candidate/s will have
* Be fit and energic and have a great work ethic
* Grazing management of stock and excellent stockman-ship, managing weight targets
* Knowledge and skill at operating Machinery on the flat and a hill slope
* General fencing and farm maintenance skills
* Ability to work in a team and alone with good communication skills
* Must have a full drivers license
The farm is located 35 km South of Hawera, and 25 km to Patea, and 85km to Wanganui.
This position offers great lifestyle around a 40 hour week including some weekend work, and great remuneration according to the skill set of the successful applicant.
No inside dogs, but working dogs welcome, while not essential are a bonus. Recreational horse facilities are available and horses are welcome, as are cats and chickens.
