Job Description
Whare Creek is a family owned farm in the southern end of the Te Anau basin, 30 minutes from Te Anau.
Our 2300ha sheep and beef property runs 10000 Romney ewes and 500 Beef cows with solid infrastructure and a supportive team environment.
We have a great team environment and are looking for a Junior Shepherd General who would fit in well. The job involves all aspects of farming including stock work, fencing, tractor work and general farm duties. We are looking for someone who has a good attitude, is willing to learn, honest, reliable, uses their initiative and has a passion for agriculture.
This is an exciting opportunity for a junior shepherd to enhance and develop their skills and contribute to a successful team.
1-3 working dogs will be essential for this job.
There is a friendly rural community us with access to many sporting clubs and tramping and fishing opportunities
