Farm Worker

We are looking for someone to join our family orientated team who

• has a great attitude and communication skills
• is punctual, reliable and has a great work ethic
• has a clean and tidy work area
• can work unsupervised and as part of our team
• is looking for permanent work and is a resident of NZ (please DO NOT apply if you have a working visa that only lasts a year)

The successful applicant will have previous farming experience and enjoy working in all aspects of farming.

Your duties will include

• Tractor work including cultivation, drilling, driving a destoner
• A small amount of sheep stock work - drenching, feeding breaks, drafting etc
• Significant loader and forklift operation
• Grain harvest duties
• General farm duties

There is accommodation available on the property which can be rented to the successful applicant.

The job is situated in Yaldhurst but we also travel to a property in Kirwee. The hours are generally 8am to 6pm depending on the nature of the job. Some weekend work is required during busy times. We have a small team. The owner, one full time permanent staff member and a few casual workers during busy times off and on during the year when required.
