Job Description
Based in Nareen, Western Victoria, we require a dynamic person or couple passionate about agriculture to assist with the day to day running of our family run farming business. We run 13000 composite ewes that produce high quality lambs finished on fodder crops and in our feedlot system.
We are located 20 minutes from Casterton, 50 minutes from Hamilton with close access to school bus if required.
The successful applicant/s for the position will be required to have the following skills:
-A good attitude and strong communication skills
-Competent in all areas of stock work with own working dogs
-Operation of light and heavy farm machinery
-Maintenance of farm plant and equipment
-Fencing and water trough maintenance
An attractive salary package will be negotiated with on farm accomodation available in a renovated 4 bedroom house.

We have adopted practices such as rotational grazing and containment feeding to protect our pastures and improve sustainability.
