Farm Caretaker

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Farm Caretaker to oversee the daily operations of a beef cattle enterprise operated on two properties. This role is hands-on and largely independent, suited to someone with strong livestock skills and the ability to manage farm duties with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily care, monitoring, and welfare of beef cattle.
• Feeding, water management, and assisting with calving and weaning.
• Fence, water system, and property maintenance.
• Safe operation and basic servicing of farm machinery and vehicles.
• Record-keeping and regular reporting to the farm owner.

About You:

• Proven experience with cattle and general farm operations.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Practical skills in fencing, water systems, and machinery operation.
• Strong animal husbandry knowledge and observation skills.
• Physically fit, dependable, and safety-conscious.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Current driver’s licence (MR/tractor/ATV experience an advantage).
• Chemical handling accreditation.
• First aid certification.
