An exciting opportunity has become available within a large family-owned Wairarapa business which
offers diversity and scale.
Wairio is a 1300ha sheep and beef finishing farm located 15mins from Featherston and
Martinborough.
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced person to aid the farm manager in carrying out day to day tasks. This position is ideal for someone wanting to further their skills on a large extensive finishing property with a great team environment, the applicant will be exposed to high level of finishing which will include implementing Halter, feed budgeting, crop rotation planning, animal health program's. This roll is 90% stock work.
The successful applicant requires the following:
· Good level of stockmanship with 2-3 working dogs
· Strong communications skills, motivated, organized and good time management.
· Must be honest and reliable and work well within a team
