We are seeking an experienced and passionate Farm Manager to lead the daily operations, development, and sustainability initiatives of our farm. This is a unique opportunity to work in a values-driven organisation, making a real difference for people and planet.
Manage all aspects of farm operations including crop planning, livestock care, and resource management.
Implement and oversee regenerative and organic farming practices.
Coordinate farm staff, volunteers, and community members.
Maintain farm equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
Monitor budgets, reporting, and farm records.
Collaborate with the Trust on educational programmes and events.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
An alignment with Ren Xue principles, with kindness and openness for personal growth and the development of Ren Xue agriculture in harmony with people and nature.
Be experienced in working with and fostering positive farming communities, networks and industry.
Proven experience in farm management/operations, ideally in regenerative or organic agriculture.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and holistic wellbeing.
Practical problem-solving skills and adaptability.
Relevant qualifications in agriculture or related field (desirable).
Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
Ren Xue Australasia Charitable Trust is dedicated to fostering holistic wellbeing, sustainable living, and community development in Aotearoa New Zealand. Our farm in the scenic Onekaka, Golden Bay, is at the heart of our mission—providing a space for regenerative agriculture, ecological stewardship, and personal growth. The farm spans 186 hectares and currently runs beef and has a significant horticulture footprint.
This role offers flexibility to suit a variety of lifestyles and commitments. The Farm Manager position can be either live-in, with accommodation provided on-site at the farm, or live-out, allowing the successful candidate to commute from their own home. Additionally, we welcome applications for both full-time and part-time arrangements, ensuring the role can adapt to individual needs and circumstances.

Ren Xue Australasia was established in 2015 as part of an initiative to provide a global organisational structure for Ren Xue.
