Shepherd ~ Ranganui Farming Ltd
Ranganui is a 1,000ha sheep and beef breeding and finishing operation, located 25 minutes southwest of Gisborne.
50:50 sheep and cattle – running Romney ewes and Hereford/Shorthorn cross cattle. Wintering 7,000 stock units.
Ranganui offers good dog work which is done on horse back as well as a motorbike. A tidy 3-bedroom house with great infrastructure, high school and primary bus at gate. Situated within an active community centred around local Dog Trials, Horse Sports and social events. A local sports club – offering Rugby, Cricket, Netball, Hockey and Social Touch, is located within 20 minutes from the property.
We are looking for someone with a good attitude, hardworking, be able to work independently as well as in a team. Must be capable on a horse and have a good team of dogs that are well controlled.
