Job Description

Lorne Peak Station is a diverse and progressive farming business. It has changed a lot in the last 10 years from a store stock property to currently finishing all progeny. Running 9,500 Romney ewes and 400 angus cows, alongside 600+ bulls and brought-in trade lambs and cattle finished on lucerne, annual clovers, various crops including pivot irrigation.  We have challenged what’s possible in this environment and require an exceptional stock manager to build on and refine our stock systems to achieve yet higher levels of performance. The building blocks are in place but some real passion and attention to detail is now required to take it to the next level with significant development still planned.
