A position for a general farmhand is available on our 8200ha family run mixed cropping and livestock enterprise in the Wheatbelt of Western Australia. Previous tractor experience is essential as you will be assisting in the seeding of our cropping program commencing in late April. On the job training will be provided on our modern Ag machinery. The opportunity to stay on after the completion of seeding is available to the right person. Experience in stock work, both sheep and cattle is desirable.
Remuneration based on experience.
We are situated 320km south east of Perth close to the town of Hyden. A great opportunity to gain some broadacre experience and earn some good money. The position includes a 3 bedroom airconditioned house with all utilities supplied. A ute is also provided for work purposes as are all meals during busy seeding period. Hours are variable and depending on farm work commitments the opportunity to also travel and see our State while you are here exists.
We are happy to assist with your flight to Australia and also any quarantine arrangements and applications that you may require at the time in order to travel to Western Australia.
Hyden is a great town with good services, recreation and over the years we have had many workers from NZ who have really enjoyed their time with us and have been happy to stay on long term.
