Job Description

Seasonal and long term opportunities

Western Australia has many opportunities for experienced hard working Machinery Operators..

Casual seeding jobs, some following through to harvest and potential for long term permanent jobs.

As the season is already started for most areas, you need to be available to

fly into Perth ASAP

The planting season has started with a rush as most areas have received decent opening rains. With the borders now open and our first New Zealanders landed Quarantine free  with no complications and are hard at work ....  we are looking for some more people to join the season. With the best opening rains received for a few years there is  now more ongoing post seeding work on boomsprays and spreaders..

We welcome enquiries from Men and Women who have significant machinery experience  and especially those that have completed a seeding or harvest season in WA previously. We will assist where needed with G2G pass for WA and organising transport to the farms etc.

Farm planting programs range from 2000ha to  18000ha

Seeding machinery is modern and all use GPS and AS,  most with liquid fertiliser and variable rate technology. Bars ranging from 12 metres to 24 metres.

Hourly rates will vary depending on previous experience but range from $30 to $40 per hour.

12 - 14 hour days during seeding  or operating machinery and 8-10 hour days post seeding for general farm work.

Locations vary across the WA grain growing region from Geraldton to Esperance.  Employers are trusted clients and we are confident they offer high quality opportunities.

Accommodation is part of the package and sometimes meals are supplied. Reimbursement of airfares can also be negotiated.

Vehicles can be provided for local use.

Planting Canola, Wheat Barley oats and some legumes ..

Post seeding work could include  Spraying, Spreading Fertilizer, sheep and beef cattle work.

Video Interviews can be conducted this week

We will work with you match you to the best farm for your skills experience and expectations. We maintain contact and will assist with all aspects of your employment in Australia, providing advice and opportunities into the future where required.
