KNIGHTLANDS HEREFORDS - Bay of Plenty We are looking for a person to assist us in the running of our three farms.   This position is based on a 240 Ha farm in Pikowai (Matata Straights, Whakatane/Tauranga boundary) with the responsibility of looking after the day to day running on this farm.   Approximately 35 min from Whakatane and 30 min from Te Puke.   The job is responsible for calving 150 cows over spring, has 150   x 2yo bulls to sell in the spring and yearling bulls.   All of the farms are primarily beef blocks, with 650 commercial and registered Hereford cows,   Hereford bulls for the dairy industry, and dairy heifer grazing of our own animals.   This farm is run in conjunction with another 480 Ha farm by the farm owner, 7km away.   There is also another 70 Ha block run by another worker.   The farms are all run together as needed and   you would be expected to work on all farms.   You would be ultimately accountable to the Farm Operations Manager/owner....
