Spanning 3,000 hectares, Waipapa Station is a complex and diverse operation encompassing dairy support, beef finishing, and sheep and beef breeding. The station winters 600 dairy heifers, 350 bulls, 1,200 beef steers and heifers, 5,200 ewes and 700 breeding cows, and also winters 3,000 dairy cows on-farm with external support. JOB DESCRIPTION: Matahuru Farms Ltd is a 1500ha operation that consists of multiple properties across the Waiterimu district. The business runs 400ha of techno cell grazing & 1100ha of rolling to steeper hill country that supports an animal blood serum program for microbiology from cattle, horses and goats. We pride ourselves on teamwork, constant learning and growth, doing things properly, and exploring innovative ways to take our business to the next level.   We are looking for a motivated person to join our team as a full-time member. The job involves all day-to-day aspects of the farming operation, we are looking for a person who can work independently but also work well within a team and work closely with our block managers.
