We are a family run farm of 4400 Ha that run 6000 Merino Ewes for fat lamb producing & 600 Angus Cows, running in house AI programs.  We grow a small amount of cereals for our own use and Lupin mix for silage and to harvest. We will be clay spreading, yard building, water & fence maintenance and feeding livestock. We are seeking 1 or 2 experienced single males,  to join us from February to October.   $35 - $40 an hour  Accomodation is of high standard. East Coast Livestock is a farming and contracting business based in Gisborne.   We lease 4 stations across the region and also run crews developing and maintaining farms.   Our teams do fencing, roading, water reticulation, scrub clearing, airstrips etc.   We have a wide range of machinery including diggers, dozers, tractors, rollers.   We are currently looking for an operator to join our team.   This is a varied and interesting role.   Main tasks include: -        Pushing fencelines in front of the fencing team – 50% -        Laying fencelines -        Farm development and maintenance e.g:   dams, tracks and roads, culverts, yardsites, airstrips etc. -        Class 4 or 5 licence would be an advantage as we cart our own machinery and livestock.
