SHEPHERD GENERAL: TASMAN SHEEP, CATTLE & DEER Shepherd General required for Castledowns Farming situated in Tasman. This 870ha farm consists of mainly rolling hills, carrying 8500 su. It is a breeding and finishing operation running sheep, beef and deer. We require a motivated person with plenty of common sense, prepared to be involved with all aspects of daily farming operations and to work at the direction of the manager. This position is long term and can be tailored to suit applicant but previous experience on a NZ farm essential, tractor experience and fencing skills and 1-2 working dogs would be advantageous.
