We are looking to fill two TRACTOR DRIVER   positions. These roles will be based in South Canterbury from our main yard in Orton, near Temuka. The successful candidates will work within a small team as part of the larger group. Duties will include feeding out with mixer wagon, spreading, rolling, mowing, cultivating and other general farm duties. These are full-time positions What we are looking for; A good work ethic, attitude and an ability to show initiative. Basic mechanical knowledge A team player, but is also able to work unsupervised. The opportunity:   Riverina Farms is seeking an experienced and motivated General Farm Hand to join our team on a 1,100-hectare sheep, beef and cropping operation located in the Waitotara area, approximately 35km from Whanganui.     The farm consists of four blocks within a 10km radius and features predominantly flat, easy contour country. Our farming operations include cattle finishing, grazing dairy support stock, lamb finishing, and cropping. We're looking for an experienced tractor driver to join our team for the cropping season (spring and autumn). Cropping work involves planting fodder crops and re-grassing. This is done on both flat land and hill country. The right person will be reliable, take pride in their work, and be confident operating modern tractors and cropping gear. Off-season, there's ongoing work operating back blades, scoop, and hay mulcher, so this is a great opportunity for someone wanting steady, year-round hours.
