The position requires loading the topdressing planes, moving loaders to and from airstrips and basic maintenance of machinery. No two days are the same in this industry. WELCOME : We are looking for a person or preferably a couple to assist us in the running of our 450Ha effective lease farm at Rotoiti, near Rotorua. The applicant will be working on there own 90% of the time, with an opportunity for their partner to have casual work on the farm also. This position could suit a shepherd wanting to step up to the next level with possible promotion to full management in the future. The location is approximately 25-30 mins from CBD Rotorua. The farm presently runs 1600 high performing ewes with replacements grazed off the property, approximately 450 R1 dairy grazers, plus 100 beef cows. All weaners are sold at the weaner fair in March.
