An intermediate/ head shepherd general position has become available on our 700ha property in Omakau. Our farm offers a great working environment, a wide range of jobs, plenty of opportunity to learn new skills and the potential to move into a stock manger roll. This is a full-time position, starting the beginning of October 2026. We are a family owned and operated farm. We farm ewes, finish lambs and beef cattle, graze   young dairy stock and have over 300ha of arable. The property is well maintained with pivot and Kline irrigation, halter, state of the art cattle yards and sheep facilities, near new tractors, side by side, quad bikes and modern implements. General Farm Worker – Buscot Station We are looking for a capable and motivated General Farm Worker to join our team on our 2,300-hectare sheep and beef property at Buscot Station, just north of Omarama in North Otago. We run 8,000 Merino sheep, beef cattle and graze young dairy stock. The property is a diverse mix of irrigated and high-country land, with six pivot irrigators and a small amount of fixed-grid and K-line irrigation. This is a varied role suited to someone with good stock sense, initiative and a great attitude .
