Experienced shepherd

 

We are currently looking for a Experienced shepherd for Lochinver Station.

 

Lochinver Station is a 9,700 ha effective sheep and beef breeding and finishing property running approximately 31,000 Romney ewes and 2,500 Angus cows plus associated replacement stock.

We are located 30 minutes from Taupo on the Napier – Taupo highway with the local school just across the road.

 

We wish to employ someone with 2 or more years experience accompanied by a team of 4-5 dogs under good command

Applicants must have:

  • Good stockmanship
  • Be able to work in a team and individually
  • Be willing to take on responsibly
  • Willing to learn and adopt new ideas
  • Show initiative
  • Be reliable and punctual

We can offer a 3-bedroom house with competitive remuneration to suit the applicants skills and experience.
