We are seeking a person to fill a stock manager role on our family's privately owned sheep, beef, and deer farm located on the Western Bays Lake Taupo. Our farming model is made up 30% sheep,  25% beef,  and 45% deer. The farm requiring a stock manager is a part of a wider farming operation for Motere Lands Ltd which in total runs approx. 32,000 SU over 2800 ha of effective farmland. Motere Lands Ltd operates between Motere Station, Otaipuhi Station, and the Waihaha Vista. The Successful applicant would be required to predominantly work on Otaipuhi Station while working closely alongside our existing staff on the Waihaha Vista and regularly assist at Motere Station when needed. Otaipuhi has a wide range of stock classes but is currently running approximately 2000 hinds, 240 MA angus cows, 2000 Ewes, 200 Once bred heifers, all progeny is finished on farm.
