The Waitonui Milltrust Enfield hub is group of Farms based in Enfield, Oamaru. The enterprise oversees the management of 4 dairy farms and the 7 dry stock properties. These comprise approximately 1510ha in platform, milking up to 5000 cows producing in the vicinity of 2 million kg’s of milk solids.
There is a further 1200 ha operated as dairy support blocks for forage and grazing – which is under the umbrella of Taupua.
Taupua’s role in the wider business is to achieve key milestones around live-weight targets for the replacement Dairy Stock and growing forage and crops to feed the Dairy Cows over the winter period.
