We operate a contracting business based 30kms west of Ashburton operating mowers, slurry tanker and 3 combines. This is an integrated job working in with our 700 cow dairy unit and 190Ha dry stock block.
We run a Fendt 720 and two Massey Ferguson 7715 as our power plants for cultivation and slurry work.
The successful applicant needs to be able to operate cultivation gear, mowers and a slurry tanker.
The job will also include machinery maintenance and maintenance on other gear within the company so an engineering skill set would be ideal but not necessary.
There will also be some stock work to be carried out as this is an integrated role but will not include milking cows.
This is a fixed term position that for the right person could lead into a full time position.
The successful applicant will have an open mind with a can do attitude with the ability to adapt to conditions as the day progresses.
