Sisam & Sons is a long-standing, family-owned farming business with deep roots in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. Based just 18km south of Whakatāne, the business spans 4,750 hectares, running four dairy units and two sheep and beef operations, alongside commercial forestry. Sisam & Sons is looking for a proven leader to take the reins of its sheep and beef operation which covers 2,000ha grazing and wintering dairy heifers/cows for the four dairy farms, bull / steer finishing, and a maternal ewe flock. Stock ratios are around 80% beef and 20% sheep. As Sheep & Beef Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering the farm’s annual plan, leading a team and driving performance across stock, pasture, infrastructure, and people.
