Ward Fencing is on the look out for staff!
Unfortunately for Ward Fencing our main man is moving on to the next adventure in Australia.
So we’re now on the look out for 1-2 permanent staff.
Based out of the Mackenzie Basin, but travelling anywhere from North Otago to Marlborough, this job would suit somebody who is keen to see a lot of country and some of the best scenery in the South Island. We mainly do hill/rural fencing on high country stations.
Fencing experience or good stockmanship/farming knowledge would be favourable but certainly not essential.
We travel a fair bit and stay out on the job quite often so flexibility to do so would be a necessity.
Applicants must have;
-A good work ethic and a can-do attitude
-A willingness and ability to learn
-Common sense
-A reasonable base level of fitness
-Good people skills to get along with work mates but also clients and instalment partners
-Ability to work alone or in a team environment
-Current drivers licence and a NZ citizen
-A bloody good sense of humour
