Senlac Station is seeking an experienced and motivated Stock Manager to take charge of a breeding and finishing unit within our larger farming operation. Located just 15 minutes from Porangahau and 30 minutes from Waipukurau in Central Hawke's Bay, Senlac Station spans 2,000 hectares of rolling hill country and runs approximately 21,000 stock units. This role covers the management of an 800-hectare block, including 4,000 ewes, 1,500 hoggets, and 600 R1 bulls. While you'll be part of a wider team, this position offers real autonomy and ownership over your block. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations and the implementation of farm policy, with a focus on optimising productivity and animal performance. Support is available from a Junior Shepherd General, and you’ll work closely with the broader team including weekly meetings to ensure alignment and collaboration across the farm.
