Toronui Station Partnership is a family owned and operated Sheep and Beef Business located in the renowned Tutira district of Hawke’s Bay (Approximately 1 hour from Napier and 20 mins from Lake Tutira).
With a total area of 2800 hectares (2100 effective and including a long term lease) Toronui is currently running approximately 16,500 stock units. This includes approximately 8,000 Romney/Romdale breeding ewes and replacements and 830 Angus cows and replacements. Lambs are finished or sold store as the season allows, with weaner steers all sold and surplus heifers carried through for an additional 12 months.
Being located on the Maungaharuru Range, the property varies in altitude and contour. It is generally summer safe and winter feeding is enhanced with a swede crop and pasture renewal programme.
