Turihaua Station is situated on the coast 15 minutes north of Gisborne and is the oldest Angus Stud in Australasia. It is a medium to steep coastal property, currently wintering 10,000 su running an 80:20 cattle to sheep ratio (it is a commercial sheep flock). Summers can be very hot and dry with winters mild and wet. Pasture growth can be huge at certain times of the year. The purchase of a neighbouring property will take the total farm area to 1300Ha.
