East Coast Livestock - Hill Country Fencing

East Coast Livestock is a farming and contracting business based in Gisborne.   We lease 4 stations across the region and also run crews developing and maintaining farms.   Our teams do fencing, roading, water reticulation, scrub clearing, airstrips etc.   We have a wide range of machinery including diggers, dozers, tractors, rollers.   We are currently looking for an operator to join our team.   This is a varied and interesting role.   Main tasks include: -        Pushing fencelines in front of the fencing team – 50% -        Laying fencelines -        Farm development and maintenance e.g:   dams, tracks and roads, culverts, yardsites, airstrips etc. -        Class 4 or 5 licence would be an advantage as we cart our own machinery and livestock. You must be an experienced operator able to work independently and within our other crews.   A lot of our work is on steeper terrain, so you must also have done this type of work before.
