About the role
In this role, you will support your team's growth and contribute to the success of our business.
The responsibilities include:
· Leading and motivating a team of people.
· Planning and carrying out the day-to-day operational aspects of the stock and pastoral management.
· Supporting the Supervisor in planning farming operations.
· Recording and managing farm data.
· Driving innovation and improving processes to optimise farm performance.

· A passion for animal welfare, pasture management, and planning.
· Leadership skills with a strong commitment to mentoring, training, and supporting staff.
· High motivation, efficiency, and commitment to safety.
· The ability to competently use systems such as Farmax and Farm IQ. Experience is preferred, but training will be available for the right candidate.

The Farm
Kahuranaki Station is a distinguished sheep and beef farm in Hawke’s Bay, located just 20 minutes south of Havelock North and positioned between the Tukituki River and the Maraetotara Stream. Spanning 1,156 hectares, the station is celebrated for its remarkable limestone landscapes and breathtaking vistas across the Bay, encompassing the coastline, Napier, Te Mata Peak, and, on a clear day, Mt Ruapehu.
This landmark station breeding and finishing station currently runs 300 cows and 4,600 ewes, with replacement stock.
