Job Description
We are looking for a person to manage the day-to-day running of our 340ha Dry stock Farm located in Waimiha.
At present we run 1700 ewes plus replacements and up to 100 heifers
The successful applicant will require the following:
- Grazing management experience
- Stock management (drenching, weighing stock etc)
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to high standards of quality and safety
- A small team of working dogs is essential
- Tractor driving experience
- Good fencing ability
- Crutching and shearing skills would be an advantage
- Weed control
- Current and full NZ driver's licence
YOU WILL ALSO NEED: Strong work ethic, common sense, passion and enthusiasm about all things stock management. A positive attitude is a must and you will need to be able to work on your own unsupervised and also in a team environment.
