This role would suit an experienced shepherd looking to contribute to a progressive operation and grow alongside a business with clear direction and ambition for the future.

The responsibilities include:

  • Carry out day-to-day stock work including mustering, animal health treatments, dagging, drenching, and loading/unloading livestock.
  • Maintain a high standard of animal welfare and monitor stock condition closely.
  • Work effectively with a team of working dogs to complete stock movements safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with general farm maintenance including fencing repairs and water system upkeep.
  • Operate farm vehicles and equipment, including quad bikes for spraying and other farm tasks.
  • Keep farm sheds, equipment, yards, and surrounding areas clean, organised, and well maintained.
  • Contribute positively to a team-focused environment through good communication and a strong work ethic.
  • Support the use of modern farm systems and technology where required.
