Tractor Spreader Operator

R & R Precision Spreading is currently seeking an enthusiastic operator to join our team in a full-time, permanent role. 

The role involves operating our 200hp Fendt tractor fitted with a specialist 3-point linkage Kverneland spreader with 3-axle trailer for fert cartage, to apply nutrients to crop, sheep, beef and dairy farms throughout the Mid-Canterbury region.

 R & R Precision Spreading is a family-owned business operating in Methven. We specialise in the application of nutrients for our valued primary producers throughout the region. At R&R we pride ourselves on providing our clients with exceptional service, while providing a great working environment for our team.

Attributes we are looking for:

• Minimum Class 2 licence, with a willingness to progress to Class 4 or 5.
• Practically minded with great attention to detail.
• Reliable and motivated.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on quality and customer service.
• Committed to health and safety.
• Able to follow instructions, adapt when needed and willing to learn.
• A good sense of humour and a positive team attitude.

 What we can offer you:

• Hours: During the busy season, expect 50+ hours per week. In the off-season we support our staff with a 40hr/week retainer

• We run a modern fleet of 9 trucks and 2 tractors, with GPS guidance. Our fleet is Spreadmark certified

 While experience would be preferred, training and license assistance will be provided to the right candidate.
