Join a progressive, family-owned farming business located on a stunning 1,000ha coastal sheep and beef breeding property in the Rangitikei. We take immense pride in our entire process, marketing our lambs through our own branded ‘paddock to plate’ business. We are looking for a dedicated individual who shares our values of respect, integrity, and genuine pride in their work to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute high-level stockmanship and animal husbandry to ensure health and welfare of our sheep and beef stock.
- Maintain property infrastructure through tidy, practical fencing and general maintenance tasks.
- Work collaboratively within a positive team to uphold our high standards of production and care.
- 3000 Romney Breeding Ewes & 300 Angus Breeding Cows
About You:
- You have on-farm experience
- You have strong skills in livestock handling and sheep & beef animal husbandry.
- You are proficient in fencing and general property maintenance.
- You demonstrate high attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- You enjoy being a part of a motivated, positive team environment.
- You hold a full driver’s licence and have New Zealand residency.
