Experienced shepherd Drysdale is 2500 ha of medium to steep hill country 25km west of Hunterville run in conjunction with 400 ha finishing block at Halcombe. We run a very simple stock system targeting high performance sheep with clear cut stock performance targets and a dry stock beef operation purchasing 2yo Steers and finishing them as 3yo. Stock are mostly set stocked so there is minimal weekend work and no supplementary feeding. Work is a 50/50 split of horse and bike.   The successful applicant will require. 2+ years’ experience A good team of 4-6 good dogs under good command.
