My name is António Sobral, I come from Portugal and arrived in New Zealand on April 25th of this year. I currently live in Wellington and I am available to relocate and start working immediately. I am a friendly, stable, and responsible person who highly values a good work environment. I am looking for a long-term work opportunity in the agricultural sector that allows me to apply for an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) that leads to residence in the future.
I have been working in this field for 11 years. I worked for six years as a caretaker and manager of a flock of sheep on my family's farm. I also worked for five years as a farmhand on my family's tomato farm in Portugal.
I have experience in raising, feeding, and nutritionally managing livestock, and I know how to care for animals, understand their health conditions, and check pasture conditions. I am able to perform tasks that require physical effort for extended periods and I am able to adapt to changing weather conditions and work effectively in a team. I also can operate farm Tractors and machinery for feeding out, and general farm work
I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to use my skills performing agricultural work on your farm.
Sincerely,
António Sobral
