Tayla Going

I’m a 30year old kiwi woman, I grew up on the Tutukaka Coast, I have decided to change career, I’m fairly green, keen to learn with a strong work ethic, I have some but minimal experience &, I have a NZ Class 1 Full Drivers Licence.

Previously I've dabbled in farming: milk harvesting, cattle yard work (vaccinating/drenching R1s & R2s), tube feeding bobby calves. Relief milked in the mornings before driving an hour to complete an introductory to dairy farming course years ago (2014), however unfortunately it mostly only covered chainsaw use practicum. We didn't really have access to a decent tractor & barely did any fencing, setting up of break fencing or maintenance of water systems etc. I used to be competent on dirt bikes just a bit rusty.

I am adaptable having worked in a variety of roles and have people skills coming from a background in FOH hospitality as a restaurant duty manager, I’m capable of working hard, for long shifts. My most recent employment role was as a kitchen assistant for the Northland Disabled Charitable Trust t/a Forget Me Not Adult Day Centre.

I love the outdoors, I’m physically fit, punctual (likes being early), disciplined (trained for track athletics racing for years), health & safety conscious, honest, reliable, bubbly, enjoys both the company of working as a team & working independently once competent, willing to apply perseverance whilst attaining new skills.
