Patunga Farms is diverse 1,500ha (effective) hill country sheep and beef property situated 20min west of Taumarunui. The property winters 15,000 SU and operates a breeding and fattening system.   We are introducing Halter and plan to expand this into our breeding cows in the future. We will be looking at building a positive team culture based on communication and good systems where people enjoy coming to work. A position has become available for a Shepherd General The position would suit someone who enjoys working with dogs and has a strong interest in stockmanship, learn about pasture management and continue to grow & develop their skill set and level of responsibility.
