The opportunity: Riverina Farms is seeking an experienced and motivated General Farm Hand to join our team on a 1,100-hectare sheep, beef and cropping operation located in the Waitotara area, approximately 35km from Whanganui. The farm consists of four blocks within a 10km radius and features predominantly flat, easy contour country. Our farming operations include cattle finishing, grazing dairy support stock, lamb finishing, and cropping. We utilise a Halter system for cattle management and are continually looking to improve efficiency and productivity. In addition, the farm supports our 750-cow dairy operation through wintering dairy cows and grazing replacement heifers, providing a diverse range of stock classes and farming activities throughout the year.
