We are seeking a dedicated Fencer - General Hand to join our team of twenty-one. Our large-scale agricultural programme includes a variety of activities such as cropping, regrassing, drainage, fencing, and ongoing maintenance across the Station. In this hands-on role, you'll be involved in a variety of tasking including fencing repairs and maintenance, weed control, trough cleaning, helping with water reticulation and assisting with other activities on farm such as tractor work during busy periods.  Located in Western Southland, Mount Linton Station is a 12,145ha sheep, beef and forestry property. Mount Linton is a 12,145ha 92,500SU sheep, beef and forestry property at the foothills of the Takitimu Mountains in Western Southland.  The Station ranges from easy rolling downs at 200m to extensive high country at over 800m, with two sheep genetic programmes and the largest Angus herd in NZ. We are looking for a shepherd to join out team of 20 people. Ideally you will have at least four well trained dogs and a couple of years shepherding experience, but less experienced candidates are welcome to apply as we believe the right attitude is more important. We have a reputation for growing our people and there will be opportunities to climb the ladder within the business for the right candidate.
