WHAT
The General Hand role is a hands-on position focused on the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of farm infrastructure, machinery, and water systems. Responsibilities include fencing repairs, monitoring and fixing pumps or leaks, operating tractors and farm equipment, and assisting with weed, pest, and stock management.
As part of a small, close-knit team working alongside the Farm Manager, this role is ideal for a practical, dependable person who takes pride in high-quality work. It offers the chance to gain broad, hands-on experience across all areas of a well-managed, modern farm, with variety, responsibility, and opportunities to develop a wide range of skills.
