Seeder Operator in WA mid-west

Opportunity to join a seeding team as a seeder operator in a family owned and operated, 12,500ha broadacre cropping enterprise near Coorow, Western Australia (approx. 3hrs nth of Perth).

The role:

• Start early-mid April to end of May (approx. 7 weeks pending weather)
• Roster dependent on seeding requirements, approx 12-day fortnight. Some flexibility with relief operators in place.
• 12-14hr shifts - some nightshift component.
• Operating a 600hp Quadtrac with 21m bar and tow behind cart.
• Loading the seeder with fertiliser, seed, liquid N
• Maintenance, cleaning and general farm duties if required

We require the following:

• This role would best suit a seasonal candidate with previous experience in seeding operations
• Someone who enjoys working in an experienced team with good attention to detail.
• Manual C Class Driver’s License as a minimum. HR or HC preferred.
• Non-smoker
• Ability to learn new technology
